Singer Taylor Swift has just donated 6,000 books to a local library in Pennsylvania. The library located in Reading, PA has been struggling with money issues recently. Ms. Taylor who is from the nearby town of Wyomissing, in collaboration with Scholastic Books has footed the bill for 6,000 children’s and young adult titles.
All the books will be selected by librarians. Ms. Swift who is an avid reader hopes this move will help the library and encourage young people to read.
