Launched in 1982, USA Today has become a premier news source, and their book reviews have gained respect throughout the publishing industry. Ranking 150 titles weekly in their Best-Selling Books list, USA Today is now expanding their books section into an online destination for readers.

Their new webpage, books.usatoday.com will incorporate features that give readers a unique interactive experience. Not only will readers be able to preview books and read reviews, they will be able to click from the review to the vendor of their choice and make a purchase.

In a press release from USA Today, they describe their new book webpage as allowing, “readers to browse books across a variety of genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books; read reviews, and share personal recommendations in conversations that also allow for Tweeting about books or responding to other reader’s comments.”

Over 10,000 titles have already been reviewed in the pages of their print edition and those will now be archived within the new books webpage.
