Amazon has just announced they have purchased the rights to the fourteen original James Bond novels by author Ian Fleming. The rights were secured for ten years and the books will be re-issued this fall in conjunction with the opening of the Bond movie, Skyfall. The deal also includes two non-fiction books by Fleming.
The Bond books will be released as eBooks and will only be available on Amazon’s Kindle. Additional formats are planned.
