Demon’s Bride by Zoe Archer

Historical, dark paranormal romance, Zoe Archer’s second book in her Hellraisers series, Demon’s Bride, captures the reader from the first page.  Seriously. Go to any bookstore online or off and read just the first page or two and you’ll see what I mean.

The author is an award winning writer and her writer’s voice offers the reader a smooth reading experience that allows for a deeper experience of the story.

Anne Hartfield is a bookish, baron’s daughter with little money and little reason for the rich, handsome Leo Baily to offer marriage within such a small amount of time. But, Leo is not a prince charming, he’s made a deal with the devil, and though it has made him rich and powerful, there is a price.  Anne will have to choose between saving her husband and saving herself.

It’s been a while since an author has captivated me with their ability to spin a story so compelling it reels me into that world totally.  I have high hopes for this series and have no doubt Ms. Archer will enjoy great success in her career as a writer.

Demon’s Bride is out May 1, 2012.
