In October 2012, Kensington Publishing will release the first book in the Hattie Davish “Have Typewriter Will Travel” series by Anna Loan- Wilsey, historical mysteries (with a dash of romance) that feature the sleuthing adventures of a traveling secretary in the late-19th century.  The debut, A LACK OF TEMPERANCE, draws on the unique character and history of a Victorian tourist town in the throes of Prohibition.

Debut author Anna Loan-Wilsey lives in a Victorian farmhouse in the Iowa countryside with her husband and daughter. As a librarian and information specialist, she tracks down information every day that helps to solve mysteries. Eureka Springs is one of her favorite getaway spots. She is currently working on the second book in the Hattie Davish Mystery series to be set in Galena, Illinois.
