Each year, The Bookseller does an annual survey of digital trends, sales, and industry opinions. They found in their latest survey that eBook sales will “overtake those of their printed counterparts by the end of this decade.”

Although they are still working on all the data collected and won’t make the entire survey known until the FutureBook Conference in December of this year, they have said they are already seeing the transition. They predict that sales  of eBooks will overtake print books between 2015 and 2019 – earlier in the U.S.

Nearly all publishers sell digitally, and e-books and apps are the two most common formats.

If you would like to participate in their survey, it can be found on their website, or by clicking here.
