International Speaker, Award Winning Industry Professional Barbara Vey Joins Staff at Reader’s Entertainment

After seven years as a contributing editor for industry magazine Publisher’s Weekly, reader-favorite Barbara Vey whose blog, Beyond Her Book, garnered tens of thousands of comments over the years has found a new home at Reader’s Entertainment online magazine.

Beyond Her Book

Reader’s Entertainment Magazine which began in 2005 and works like as Associated Press-like news hub while also offering exclusive content to readers free online is focusing this year on building a greater presence in the Romance and Women’s Fiction genres.  The magazine includes news specific of interest to readers of books, comics, graphic novels and blogs.

Vey, who has won romance industry awards from both Romantic Times and Romance Writers of America has had her finger on the pulse of romance readers for nearly a decade.  Her main focus at Reader’s Entertainment will be bringing readers into the homes, minds, books and conventions of writers, creating an entertainment bridge between the artist and the reader.  Barbara will attend conventions where she will interview authors, talk about the parties, the gossip and the fun along the way!  She is always supportive of the writers, readers and industry in a positive way that makes reading her blog fun for all!

Barbara’s industry book entitled Book Marketing, Book Trailers and Author Etiquette in a Nutshell, co-authored by Sheila English, has hit #2 on Amazon and shares personal experience and best advice to authors for building reader loyalty and having a professional presence.

Barbara is available to attend conventions as a speaker or for media coverage.  Contact her directly at BarbaraVey@gmail.com.
