Want a little taste of a new book? Interested in how a new-to-you author writes? Now you can on Goodreads. U.S. members of the literary website can read a “Preview” of books before buying it. Once you click on an interesting book, you simply click on “Open Preview” and read. This option is available on any title that has a Kindle edition.
If you like what you’ve read, you can place the title on your “Want to Read” shelf, and when you are ready to purchase the book, the buy link for several online bookstores is right there.
So far, this service is only available to U.S. Goodreads members and only on your computer, no apps are currently available.
