Catching up with author Sheila English this summer she tells us what her plans are!

This summer is all about home improvement. My husband and I just bought a home in the beautiful Redwoods of Northern California and I’m busy working on the yard, setting up my new office and doing crazy things like making a full-size piano into a succulent planter.

I’m working on three comic books and two novels and hope to have those done by the end of summer. So wish me luck!

I have one project that I’m excited about. I’m decorating a section of the yard for get togethers. It’s the way I hold out hope that this COVID thing will one day pass. So, once it’s okay to visit friends again, we’ll be ready! We set up a table with an umbrella and chairs. We just bought a fire pit and we’re getting chairs to go around that. I’ve started decorating the area and am very happy with the results so far.

As far as my summer reads go I am reading Christine Feehan’s Desolation Road. I love her Torpedo Ink series. On my TBR pile I have –

The 7 ½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton. I’ve never read this author but the premise is totally up my alley! It’s a Groundhog Day murder mystery! https://www.amazon.com/%C2%BD-Deaths-Evelyn-Hardcastle-ebook/dp/B07CP8YXH3

The Rancher Returns by Brenda Jackson https://www.amazon.com/Rancher-Returns-Enemies-Lovers-Westmoreland-ebook/dp/B01D8IW35K

Washed in Blood by Ashley Lane. Another new-to-me author.  https://www.amazon.com/Washed-Blood-Heavens-Guardians-Book-ebook/dp/B07QMZNZRR

Twice Tempted by Jeanine Frost. Why oh why did I wait so long to read this series?!! I love it! https://www.amazon.com/Twice-Tempted-Night-Prince-Novel-ebook/dp/B008CGQADA

The Last Drop of Blood by Graham Masterton. Cause we all need a little scare sometimes. LOL https://www.amazon.com/Last-Drop-Blood-Katie-Maguire-ebook/dp/B07NSMBVKM/

Here’s hoping you share your list with me!
