Headlines, Deadlines & Lies with author Stephanie LaVigne on Book Lights

LISTEN HERE!

Stephanie LaVigne has done a bit of everything. After spending years in the NYC film industry and as a professional photographer specializing in underwater portraits, she eventually settled into her favorite phase of life yet: as an urban adventurer and full-time fiction writer.

From hopping trains across the US to crewing a sailboat on a trans-Atlantic crossing, from mushing dogs on a Canadian dogsled to unwittingly hiking Mount Washington (which, as a native Floridian is a big deal), she’s been lucky enough to have incredible adventures with all kinds of real-life characters.

She currently lives in her favorite South Florida neighborhood surrounded by palm trees, peacocks, a few wild kids, one wild husband, and a handful of incredible family and neighbors. You can find out more at her website: https://stephanielavigne.com/

Take a look at Stephanie’s latest release: HEADLINES, DEADLINES AND LIES

Family secrets. A handsome crime reporter. Can Piper solve the case before her feel-good column gets killed?
Piper Harrington’s life is a blur. Between raising two kids alone and scrambling to keep up at work, she craves a chance to prove her own dreams are valid. When she’s given her lucky break to vie for a feature column at the local paper, she jumps at it…even though it requires telling one teensy, tiny lie.

Scrambling for a topic to keep readers hooked, Piper dives into the world of genealogy…something she knows absolutely nothing about. When her investigation turns up more questions than answers, her findings threaten to open up a Pandora’s box that can’t be closed.

The cut-off is fast approaching, but between a Type-A boss, a distractingly magnetic new crime reporter, and racing between school drop-offs, she discovers that some secrets want to stay buried.

★ Can Piper uncover the truth and deliver a show-stopping story by the deadline?
★ Or will her career ambitions end up relegated to the obituaries?
