When Grace Found Me: Real Life Stories of Women of Faith
By Kim Lengling and Ruth Pearson

‘There are many who need to accept grace…’ – the whisper that opened this book

Author Kim Lengling is a freelance writer and author who had a spiritual moment of awakening that urged her to write this trilogy WHEN GRACE FOUND ME, a source of continuing inspiration for women.

Kim has collected stories from twenty women whose testimonies are an inspiration to read. She opens with her own ‘finding Grace’ story when as a mother and a victim of PTSD she attended a church service in a school gymnasium, and in her words, ‘When the service concluded, I had such lightness and peace about me. It was amazing! As my daughter and I left the school, we were holding hands, skipping, and singing one of the worship songs that the worship team had sung. I have not forgotten that day nor that moment. I believe that is a time when Grace came upon me, or at least the first time I was able to recognize it for what it was. Since that time, I have witnessed and felt God’s Grace land upon me over and over.’ The collection of stories that follow share other women’s introduction to Grace.

The various stories are interspersed with scriptural passages from the Bible that reflect the tone of each of the women’s stories, enhancing the experiences shared, and making them charismatic. Supportive, reassuring, enlightening, and satisfying, this initial volume of a trilogy will likely encourage readers to follow the provided path to find Grace. Grady Harp.
