Last week Reader’s Entertainment reported on rumors that Amazon was considering opening a bricks and mortar store. This week the rumors seem more truth than rumor, as the Seattle Times reports Amazon just purchased “3 city blocks in Seattle.” Â Being called “the largest Seattle real estate transaction in years,” Amazon is still not talking publicly. There are no details yet on whether this will become an “Amazon bookstore”, and details on building permits for the area are still sketchy stating only that they plan; “to build a one million sq. ft. office tower on each block.”
