The Agatha Awards are given each year to books in the mystery genre that are considered ‘traditional mystery” books. Those works that honor the legacy of Agatha Christie, after whom the award is named. The award is “given for materials first published in the United States by a living author either in hardcover, as a paperback original, or e-published by an e-publishing firm.”
