Publication is scheduled for fall 2022.

“This may be the most important book I have ever written, or ever will write,” said Dr. Tyson. “As a scientist I could not sit idly by and watch the irrationalities of the world dismantle civilization, knowing that a dose of sensibility – a cosmic perspective in our collective thinking – can save us from ourselves.”

In “Starry Messenger,” Dr. Tyson shares his cosmic perspective on our lives here on this planet. He reveals how nearly every thought, opinion, and outlook we have on world affairs can be enriched by knowledge of our place on Earth and in the universe. Ultimately, Dr. Tyson shows how an infusion of science, rational thinking, and cosmic discovery can illuminate our perspectives and recalibrate our brains to see things in a broader, deeper way than ever before.
