Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will publish JFK, JR.: An Intimate Oral Biography by RoseMarie Terenzio and Liz McNeil, it was announced today.

JFK, JR. is a compelling and comprehensive look at the real man behind the myth. Sharing many never-before-told stories, insights, and photos, over 150 of Kennedy’s closest friends, confidants, lovers, classmates, and colleagues paint a vivid portrait of one of the most beloved figures of the 20th century, revealing how the boy who saluted his father as his coffin left St. Matthew’s cathedral became the man America came to know and love and who still captures the public’s imagination twenty-five years after his tragic death.

RoseMarie Terenzio is the New York Times bestselling author of Fairy Tale Interrupted and the former executive assistant to John F. Kennedy, Jr. She served as his chief-of-staff at George magazine and oversaw his public relations and philanthropic causes until his death. Liz McNeil is an editor-at-large at People, where she has worked for the last thirty years.

Gallery acquired world and audio rights from Steve Troha at Folio Literary with Vice President and Executive Editor Pamela Cannon to edit. The book will be published on July 16, 2024, the 25th anniversary of the tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of John F. Kennedy, Jr., his wife, Carolyn, and her sister, Lauren.
