Book Are Making a Come Back!

According to the National Endowment for the Arts, more than half of American adults read a piece of literature in 2008. That’s up from 46.7 percent in 2007.

Could it be that books like Twilight or the Sookie Stackhouse (TrueBlood on HBO) series are making it cool to read?

At the movies last night I noticed that over half the previews I watched made a big deal about the movie being based off of a bestselling book. There was pride in making that statement. It could be that 2009 will be the year of the Reader! eBooks on several venues are increasing in popularity from the Kindle to the Sony eReader to the iPhone! Books are becoming more accessible and more popular!

It’s an exciting New Year for books!
