Spotlight: Sheila English

A Note from Sheila

Sheila EnglishLast year after meeting with some wonderful professionals I found that we all shared a common concern; that our clients and in fact all authors be taught how to identify scams from the real marketing opportunities. So, I suggested that we do a panel that would help authors with this important issue and the RT panel Scams, Shams and Snark Marketing was born.

In a nutshell, it is my belief that anyone offering a service or product online be willing to give references. If they are the expert they purport to be you should be able to find that online from sources other than that person. There’s a lot I hope people will get from this panel. I hope the walk away feeling confident that they know how to spot a scam and how to best use their time, effort and money.

I am very honored to be on this panel with some of the top professionals in the industry. I hope to learn as much as I offer.
