Penguin Publishing has just posted a video featuring 20 authors who’ve been the “victims” of censorship. Writers such as Meg Rosoff, Ellen Hopkins, Laurie Halse Anderson and others speaking about their experiences with having their books censored. Accused of everything from pandering obscenity, to blasphemy, their words are the victims of banned book lists, and library censorship. They also talk about banned books and have begun a discussion on free speech on Twitter at the#freespeechmaters.hastag.
