Author Anne Rice has returned to her horror novel roots with her newest book, The Wolf Gift. The novel debuted at No. 7 on USA Today’s list and is climbing other lists including the NYT where it is listed at No, 3.

Ms. Rice known for her horror work in the Vampire Chronicles, left the genre for a few years to write other works – several fiction books about Jesus and angels and a non-fiction work titled Darkness: A Spiritual Confession.
