Scripts as eBooks

Some of the worlds most famous movie scripts are being made available as eBooks. Iconic films such as Casablanca, Ben-Hur, and An American in Paris, all properties of Warner Brothers, are being turned into eBooks.

The line of eBooks is being called Inside the Script, and will offer director and actor notes, set pictures, behind-the-scenes pictures and production notations. They retail for $7.99 each and will are available in several formats for iPad, Kindle, and Nook.

Several are already available on Amazon. From their Amazon description: “Every volume in the Inside the Script series offers sophisticated design and formatting not usually seen in eBooks. Zoom in on high-resolution images and examine every detail. Customize your reading experience using internal links that instantly take you from scene to stills, from act to analysis, from dialogue to production memos. Use the Image Catalog to quickly locate any picture in the book.”

Inside the Script also has a Facebook page with additional details and updates on their most currently available scripts.
