Iconic illustrated classic books from Classics Illustrated are going to be made available as digital downloads. eBook publisher, Trajectory, Inc. has purchased the digital rights from First Classic Comics who owns the rights to the comics. The acquisition includes 123 titles of such iconic comics as Snow White, Treasure Island, The Three Musketeers, and Gulliver’s Travels.
Trajectory plans to sell the digital illustrated classics for $4.99 and they will be available for iPad, iPhone and iPod. In the coming months, formats will be available for all eReaders. Publisher Scott Beatty noted, most of the classic titles average 48-pages and over one hundred titles are already available for purchase at Trajectory’s website.
