SHARING LOTS OF HOBBIES WITH M.R. DAVENPORT
My hobbies are kind of vast. Sometimes they are intense and I spend a lot of time on them. Too much time. And, in truth, some have not been a large enough passion, so they fall by the way. My greatest hobby is writing. And while I have self-published six books to date, I still call it a hobby for it pays no bills. Not yet.But I would slip tenor guitar playing in as my next. I have been enjoying the sound of the little four-string melody-maker for about 15 years. I am by no means an expert or even a moderately promising strummer. But I do love to just pick it up and make music. I have even gone so far as to add a few of my own songs. Words and chords. But that is my limit. It certainly soothes the soul to strum something that garners the angelic responses whilst the Father is glorified.
I also work extensively in wood. Done photography since I was in high school (a very long time ago). Including editing. Dabble in graphic design and video production. All of which has folded nicely into the new company my wife and I started. Link below.

I am married to Nancy now just over three years. She has given me four beautiful daughters that are all married have kids. I have three biological kids. Mercedes (Mercy), Caleb, and Jacob. They are neither married or have kids of their own.
