Mysterious Galaxy has was founded in 1993 and is an independent bookstore specializing in science fiction, fantasy, mystery, young adult, romance and horror.
The bookstore is located in San Diego and is well known for its events and its interaction with the community.
The founders are Terry Gilman, Maryelizabeth Yturralde, and Jeff Mariotte.
They have had many famous authors celebrate the bookstore and participate in events including Ray Bradbury, David Brin, Robert Crais, Jonathan Maberry, and many many others.
Their mission states that it is to continue to be part of the community of readers and writers for as long as there are books to be sold, authors to host and a variety of ways to share their passion for reading and books.
