The 6:20 Man by David Baldacci

Travis Devine is an ex-Army Ranger, current MBA graduate, and is now working as an intern at a large financial firm in mid-town Manhattan: Cowl and Comely.

Living in the burbs, Travis boards the 6:20 train every morning (including Saturdays) on his way to a job he is hating more and more everyday.

About 15 minutes into the train ride, the train has to stop on the tracks for a few minutes.

Luckily, for those who care onboard the train, the stoppage occurs with a great view of a posh mansion with a pool, and a stunningly beautiful woman swimming or sun bathing (sometimes naked) in plain view of the passengers.

With the best part of his day finished, the train continues to Manhattan and the drudgery.

One morning Travis gets a mysterious email informing him that, one time girlfriend, Sara Ewes is hanging in a closet on the 52nd floor!

Suicide.

WTF!!!

What Travis does not know is how many murders will follow, the danger he will encounter, and how his life (assuming he lives) will change….forever!

To find out what happens, you can read this book!

“The 6:20 Man” is a fast action-packed, at times confusing, murder mystery with twists and turns galore! The ending will shock you!

It is not Baldacci’s best, but, is still a thrilling read with a death count rivaling that of R.R. 🙂
