Book Review: “Phantom” by Jo Nesbo

A little over three years after leaving Oslo for Hong Kong, Harry Hole is back.

Old friend, Beate Lonn, had let Harry know that someone he loves like a son, Oleg, has been arrested for the murder of drug addict, Gusto Hanssen.

Yes, in the three years since he has been gone from the loves of his life, Rakel and her son Oleg…..Oleg has grown up, gotten deeply into drugs both taking and selling, and, now, apparently, he has murdered someone.

Harry has been sober for three years now, is in great shape, and is ready to get to the bottom of Oleg’s situation, and maybe re-connect with Rakel in the process.

What Harry does not know is how fucked up Oleg is, how much danger he in, and how deeply the drug addiction to “Violin” is in Olso, and with Oleg.

He is about to find out.

“Phantom” is a terrific Harry Hole thriller that will keep you guessing at every page then comes with an ending that is so SHOCKING, it leaves you STUNNED….and changes your plans on what book to read next.

Wow!
