Book Review: “The Edge” by David Baldacci

After the events of “The 6:20 Man” former Army Ranger Travis Devine was hired by Homeland Security to work special projects.

After stopping foreign operatives on a train in Europe, Travis is now attempting to find out who killed CIA Agent Jenny Silkwell in her hometown of Putnam, Maine.

Jenny was there to close out some unfinished business but no one knows the nature of that business: It could be CIA business since her killer left clues that seem to point to a foreign agent, or it could have been personal related to the rape of her sister, Alex, 15 years ago, followed by a string of suspicious deaths.

Unfortunately, a week or so ago, Jenny was found lying at the bottom of a cliff with a bullet hole in her head. Her laptop (with classified information on it) and her cell phone are both missing.

Travis needs to sort it all out…..

But….the townspeople of small town Putnam are keeping secrets.

And there is a killer making sure these secrets stay that way.

Lucily, Travis is a good investigator and is well versed in combat.

Both of which he needs to stay alive.

Yikes!

To see what happens in this action-packed second book in “The 6:20 Man” series, you will have to read the book. 😉
