Sourcebooks Honors the Late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg with 2021 Calendar — Calendar Will Benefit Causes RBG Believed in and Supported Throughout Her Life

Sourcebooks, the largest woman-owned publisher in North America, is honoring the legacy of the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg with the 2021 The Legacy of Ruth Bader Ginsburg Wall Calendar: Her Words of Hope, Equality, and Inspiration—A yearlong tribute to the notorious RBG, which will be available November 1, 2020.

“Justice Ginsburg was an inspiration to women and girls across the country and the world. We are deeply saddened by her passing,” said Dominique Raccah, Sourcebooks publisher and CEO. “We wanted to celebrate her life and legacy. Within one day, an idea from a member of our design team has turned into this tribute to an icon of the women’s rights movement that we hope will empower girls and women during this challenging time.”

The 12-month wall calendar is a tribute that includes breathtaking and dynamic art and the most moving and memorable quotes from Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s groundbreaking career.

“We are honored to showcase 13 different female artists with diverse backgrounds and art styles in our calendar,” said Kelly Lawler, creative director for adult & YA titles. “Each of these women paid tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg in their own way through their art, and collectively these pieces are a powerful reminder of the hero and role model RBG became to all of us.”

Sourcebooks will donate half of the profits from sales of the calendar to causes that the late Justice believed in and supported throughout her life.

“Justice Ginsburg once said, ‘Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you,’” Raccah said. “We invite others to join us in our goal of raising at least $250,000 this year for groups and organizations that were close to the late justice’s heart through purchase of the calendar. Her incredible work on behalf of women’s rights is a legacy that should also be a call to action today.”

Sourcebooks has created a number of bestselling calendars and planners and is the publisher of branded and licensed calendars with groups including the National Park Foundation and the History Channel.
