From Runway to Renewal: Christine Handy’s Inspirational Battle Against Breast Cancer Comes to Life in Upcoming Film – ‘Hello Beautiful’
Professional model and breast cancer survivor, Christine Handy, is set to inspire and empower audiences with her autobiographical story in the upcoming film “Hello Beautiful.” Christine’s remarkable journey leads from the world of high fashion through a terrible battle against breast cancer to offer a profound testament of resilience and hope. Filmed in Boston, the cinematic adaptation of Christine’s bestselling book stars Tricia Helfer as Willow, with a screenplay written and directed by award-winning director Ziad Hamzeh.
Plot Synopsis: “Hello Beautiful” is a deep dive into some of the darkest chapters of life, as wife, mother, and working model Willow weathers the storms of debilitating illness. Navigating the seismic emotional struggles that threaten to derail both her self-worth and her faith, “Hello Beautiful” is a story of possibility– in a tale of transcendence that shows the beauty of the human spirit.
“If I communicate nothing else in my life, I want people to know this: You don’t have to give up,” Christine said. “We’ve all heard so many sad stories about how awful cancer is. And I understand that perspective. Cancer is brutal. But that doesn’t always have to be the end of the story. We can fight it with every single breath. Hope is a light that can guide you back home.”
Christine’s story goes far beyond her cancer diagnosis – it is a metamorphosis from seeking validation in an exciting career to discovering the raw power of inner strength. Despite facing her own mortality, and the transfiguration of her own body, Christine emerged as a beacon of light who helps others to navigate the same path. From fighting cancer and winning, to all of the surgical obstacles, reconstructive hurdles, and emotional battles that come after.
“This is more than just a movie, it’s an anthem of self-love,” said Christine. “I want people to move beyond all these superficial validations that we think are so important. It’s a healing place that I want others to find as well. That is my story – that is Willow’s story. Because I tell people all the time: if I can find my strength and learn to love myself fully, so can you.”

The Mariners Harbor Messiah by Todd Daily Book Trailer
The 1970s. A charismatic young man with extraordinary powers of healing, compassion, forbearance, and clairvoyance – named Amon. Living in an abandoned tugboat on Staten Island’s Mariners Harbor waterfront, this modern-day prophet performs everyday miracles while doing good work for the homeless and the downtrodden. Amon is befriended by a high school science teacher, Tom Haley, whose rational perspective differs from Amon’s spiritual reference frame. The concepts of economic disparity, ethnic conflict, spiritual- secular balance, and changing sexual mores in an evolving society, and idealism in the work-a-day world of 1970s America provide a backdrop to the unfolding plot. Notwithstanding their differences, the friendship between the two protagonists, Tom and Amon, is an ongoing motif in the story.

Book one of a new romantic comedy series of interconnected standalones
This condo may not be big enough for the both of them…
Charlotte Reid has always put her family first. Their bookstore was her whole life, but it’s never really felt like hers. Now, Charlotte’s left her small town behind for the chance to do something on her own terms. She needs to stay focused and make the best impression she can; this might be her one shot to change her life. That is, until the borrowed Washington D.C. condo she’s living in just added a distracting new amenity that wasn’t on the list: Hayden Brandt.
It’s always been the plan that Hayden would take the CIO job at his brother’s company when offered it. Unfortunately, Hayden feels stifled by the sense of obligation and worse, now needs to rely on him for a place to live, too.
Looking forward to some space of his own, Hayden’s surprised to find Charlotte already settled into the guest room of his brother’s condo. He figures his unexpected roommate will be easy to ignore, no matter how much her hair shines and her eyes shimmer. But then, the pranks start.
Hayden’s stuck in the past while Charlotte’s looking towards the future. Are these roommates all wrong for each other or might they be capitally matched?
Capitally Matched is the first book in the Brandt Brothers novels, a series of interconnected standalones about five brothers.
In these pages you’ll find forced proximity, a prank war, DC references, gossipy brothers, fabulous friends, a few open-door steamy scenes, lots of laughs, and even more heart. Happily ever after guaranteed!

“For anyone who has put their faith in themselves and taken a leap; this one’s for you.” _ Literallybookedsolid
“This is a wonderfully sweet romance that I thoroughly enjoyed! What sets this book apart is its refreshing lack of the typical third-act breakup drama, allowing readers to enjoy the story of uninterrupted love”._ Shanna, Reviewer for the Cozy Grey Library
“The characters are real, nuanced, and I’d love to hang out with them in real life. They’re both trying to find their way, and navigating some tricky situations so we get to watch them grow and figure out who they want to be as the pages turn. I really enjoyed their forced proximity and the way the pranks ultimately led to them getting to know each other better.”_ Brown Paper Bunny
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
