BLOG: Darkest Mercy is a Faerie Tale that will Rock Your Mortal World!

Darkest MercyI am just so happy to read something cool that doesn’t have vampires or werewolves in it! Don’t get me wrong, I love the whole vampires and werewolves thing, but sometimes you just need to clear your reading pallet. So why not add faeries to the list of totally cool, hot and interesting to read about to my list?

Darkest Mercy is the last installment of the Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr and I just heard that Universal Studios is going to make a movie out of the series! So thrilled!
It starts out with Ash, a mortal girl who has the ability to see faeries that are invisible to most humans. And these faeries are NOT Tinker Bell type faeries. That’s where it starts with Wicked Lovely, but there are others in the series and Ash ends up the Summer Queen and the love of her life ends up something else. Long story short, there’s about to be a war and some people are choosing sides while others are killing off the competition.

I love these characters!!!! Seth is so hot! Keenan is brooding and you just don’t know who will end up with whom. But the romance is pretty secondary to the overall storyline. I mean, it’s there and I think people will dig it, but the main story is the faery court intrigue, the war and all that stuff.

Give it a try! I found the video for Darkest Mercy!

Oh and check out the music in that video. VERY cool!
