Reading for many of today’s kids is “interactive”. While nothing is quite as special as sitting in a comfy chair with your child and reading, a little individual reading time is pretty good, too.
Several publishers including Random House, publisher of “Little Golden Books“s releasing “Golden Book Apps.” Priced from $1.99 to $4.99, these apps feature the same stories you remember, The Pokey Little Puppy, Princess Baby, and Pat the Bunny, only in a digital format that kids can read on the iPad, iPhone or computer.
Penguin Children’s Books is also releasing several titles as apps, called Me Books. Their first digital children’s book titles include Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk and The Gingerbread Man.
These titles and more are available via iTunes.
