Pearl S. Buck to be eBook Author

Nearly forty years after the Nobel Prize winning author’s death, Pearl S. Buck’s novels will be coming to a new generation of readers via eBooks. Her publisher has authorized thirteen of her novels to be released as eBooks through Open Road Media. Several of the titles have become iconic in literature: “The Good Earth”, “The Promise”, and “A House Divided”. Ms. Buck won the Pulitzer Prize in 1932 and the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1938 for her novel “The Good Earth“.

Ms. Buck earned critical acclaim for her works highlighting her life in China before the cultural revolution. She was also a pioneer for adoption rights, equal rights, and women’s rights. She passed away in 1973.
