Reader’s Entertainment caught up with thriller writer Donnette Smith yesterday to ask her about her new “dark thriller” entitled Cunjo. Smith, who has worked as a journalist and is a forensic science enthusiast spent three years in New Orleans studying voodoo and has mixed all her passions and studies to create the edgy thriller.
Smith talks about writing her first horror-thriller and how she still added a romantic element to the book.
