Dr. Taiwo talks about her experience and how she had to learn to forgive her parents, especially her abusive mother, for the abuse she endured from age 5 through her early adulthood.
Whisked away to Nigeria from the UK because her parents were coming under scrutiny over Lydia, and her sister’s, constant hospitalizations and wounds, things only got worse.
