eBooks by Subscription

Oyster Books is a brand new start-up that is introducing a reader service — eBooks by subscription. For a monthly fee of $9.95, readers will have over 100,000 books. The subscription will give readers access to classic literature as well as new releases, from major publishers and across most mobile platforms.

Subscribers can read as many titles as they like, and can interact on social media with other subscribers regarding their books.

Oyster just announced that have formed a partnership with Smashwords, making more titles and those of indie authors available.
