Virginia “Ginny” Blackstone is a typical 17 year old when she receives an odd inheritance from her recently deceased, self-proclaimed “Runaway Aunt” Peg, 13 little blue envelopes. Her instructions are only that Ginny is going to be traveling to foreign lands for several weeks and she is only allowed to open one envelope at a time. Aunt Peg has four rules to follow: Ginny can only bring what fits into a backpack, but she cannot bring any kind of journal or foreign language aid, extra money of any kind, and she cannot use or bring anything electronic with her.
