Read a Book As It’s Being Written

Read a book as it’s being written. That is exactly what author Silvia Hartmann is going to do beginning today, September 12th. The British author is going to write her novel on Google Docs, share it across multiple social media sites and readers can comment, offer suggestions and watch an author create in realtime. She calls the project Hartmann Book Live

“This is an amazing opportunity for me as an author to push the boundaries of the author/reader relationship. It will be amazing to write knowing that people will be viewing each word, paragraph and chapter, each backspace as I go along! Some authors plan their manuscripts in advance, but my stories tend to have a life of their own and I look forward to seeing what unfolds with everybody else!” Hartmann said in a press release.
