SNEAK PEEK: How Did Warren Buffett Succeed? From author James Pierre, JD

How Did Warren Buffett Succeed? From author James Pierre, JD

Are you tired of being broke? Are you tired of working a back-breaking job for meager pay, just to make someone else rich? Are you ready to become financially independent? Are you ready to live a life whereby you are free to do exactly as you want with your time and money?

Well, if you answered ‘yes’ to any or all of these questions, my dear reader, this book is for you. Wealth is not an illusion. 1,700 Americans become millionaires every single day. Which proves that becoming rich is as obtainable a goal as any other in life…as long as you know the formula. You now hold that formula in your hands. The question is, what are you going to do with it? Will you become a part of the 1,700 newly-minted millionaires? Or will you continue to live a life of mediocrity moored in financial slavery?

How Did Warren Buffett Succeed? will teach you how to organize your personal finances; how to save over $45,000 in seed money for your new stock market portfolio; and how to invest that seed capital by utilizing a proven stock market strategy used by the greatest investor of all time, Warren Buffett, who was able to turn $100,000 (in today’s money) to $1 million (in today’s money) in six short years (between 1950-1956). Today, Warren Buffett has amassed a personal fortune of over $70 billion.

So, stop procrastinating! Take the first step towards your Financial Independence Day, right now! Waiting for you at the end of this journey is limitless freedom and wealth, the twin pillars of an existential life.

So…what are you waiting for?

INTRODUCTION

Who The Hell Is Warren Buffett?

If you don’t know who Warren Buffett is, shame on you! Because, believe me when I tell you, he knows who you are. Okay, maybe not personally. But if you’ve ever bought a Duracell battery for your TV’s remote controller; if you’ve ever insured your car with Geico; if you’ve ever put on a pair of Fruit of the Loom underwear; if you’ve ever topped your burger with some gooey Heinz catsup, or squeezed some Heinz mustard sauce on your hotdog; if you’ve ever swiped your American Express, Visa, or MasterCard at any vendor’s establishment; if you’ve ever shopped at Costco or Walmart; if you’ve ever mowed your lawn using a John Deere tractor; if you’ve ever sprinkled a little Johnson & Johnson’s baby powder on yourself (or lathered your skin with their lotion and oil products); if you’ve ever ordered a package using UPS; if you’ve ever pumped gas in your car at a Phillips 66 fueling station…

…. Okay, I think you get the point.

What I’m saying is: If you’ve ever purchased any of the products or services mentioned above (and chances are you have), your money went into one man’s pocket. Warren Buffett.

No way, you say?

Yes way, I say!

But then you ask, How can one man own all of those companies?

And that’s when I reply with three words: The Stock Market.

Warren Buffett is a stock market investor. The greatest stock market investor of all time. How great? Well… If you would have handed Warren Buffett $1,000 in 1964 and told him to invest it for you, you would now have $10.5 million. That’s right. Like some wand-waving magician, he would have taken your measly one thousand dollars and turned it into over ten million dollars of cold, hard cash!

That’s who Warren E. Buffett is.

Now, I’m going to say something, and I need you to listen carefully. Are you paying attention? Good. Here it is: You will be a millionaire nine years from today, if you follow the instructions in this book! You wanna know how I know? Because, chances are, if you shoot exactly like LeBron James, you’ll score like LeBron James; and if you swim exactly like Michael Phelps, you’ll win a lot of gold medals like Michael Phelps; and if you swing a Louisville slugger exactly like Mike Trout (he’s a baseball player currently playing for the Los Angeles Angels), you’ll hit a lot of home runs like Mike Trout.

So, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that, if you master the exact techniques that the great ones used to achieve their success, chances are you’ll be successful too.

And there’s no greater stock market investor than Warren Buffett.

So why don’t all stock market investors invest like Buffett, so that they can become rich and successful, too? you ask.

Well… because they’re stupid.

But, you’re not. Stupid, that is. That’s why you picked up this book. Because you want to be rich. And you want to be rich by using the best money-multiplier known to man: The Stock Market. And you figured, Hey, if I’m gonna get rich using the stock market, why not follow in the footprints of the best stock market investor of all time?

Duh.

Well, that’s why I wrote this book. To show you how Warren did it… so that you can do it too!

But there may be a little, pessimistic voice in the back of your mind, whispering unscrupulously in your ears: But how do you know this technique will really work?

Okay, well how about this for an answer: Because it freakin’ did!

So you can tell that pessimistic voice to shove off, because I, me, moi, the author of this book, used the technique I’m about to teach you, in mid-2008, and, voila, I became a millionaire by 2013, at the age of 30.

So take it from me. What I am about to show you is as close to an exact science as you can get on the subject of maximizing your stock market success.

But before I formally introduce myself, let me tell you a little bit more about Warren Buffett, primarily because his background—like his many accomplishments—are an inspiration for this book.

Who The Hell Is James Pierre?

If you don’t know who James Pierre is, shame on you!

Just kidding.

I’m a nobody, really. But a rich nobody. And I want you to be a rich nobody (or somebody, depending on how you view things), too. If I was able to accumulate $1 million dollars in under nine years, you can too.

I was born on June 22, 1983, in a ghetto in Brooklyn, New York. My parents are Haitian immigrants. At the time, my father was a struggling reverend, and my mom used to hand out promotional flyers on the street for money.

Safe to say, we were broke and had nothing.

Then my mom gave birth to my little sister and brother. So, if we were broke before, now, with five mouths to feed and no sustainable income, we became even broker (I think I just made up another word; I tend to do that from time to time, so sue me. Well, don’t really sue me. Anyway, I digress).

There is a quote that says: Poverty is the parent of crime. Well, hell if that isn’t true. Everyone in my neighborhood growing up was poor. So crime ran amuck. The impetus for economic progress in my “hood” revolved around muggings, stabbings, shootings, robberies, and drug dealing. So, sad to say, if you weren’t doing any one of these things, chances are you weren’t making any loot. At least not any real loot.

Now, my family lived in a basement, five bodies crammed into a single room. My parents rented this basement room from my aunt for $500 a month. One day, at the age of 10, I took a good long look at my surroundings and decided, you know what? The hell with this. Being poor sucks. I wanna be rich!
