FACE OF A KILLER” BY ROBIN BURCELL

Book Review from TraceyReaderDad –

Sydney Fitzpatrick is an FBI Forensic Artist and “Face of a Killer” is book #1 in the series. If you recognize the author, Robin, has, in recent years, co-authored the Sam and Remi Fargo series with Clive Cussler. I am catching up on her original books….

Sydney is ready to spend the night at the bar getting plastered.

This is the 20th anniversary of her father’s murder, and even though Sydney is always down on this day, today is especially bad.

When she was 13, Sydney was in the back of her father’s pizza parlor when she woke up to an argument and a fire…..she escaped, but her dad was dead, and Sydney’s life changed forever.

Now….20 years later….Sydney is working in the San Francisco FBI office as a Forensic Artist and has decided to visit her father’s killer in San Quentin before he is executed.

It’s time to ease her mind and move on with her life.

Unfortunately, this visit set into action a series of events that put Sydney directly in the cross-hairs of a top secret criminal organization that reaches to the top of the U.S. Government.

Surviving is a problem, knowing who to trust is a problem……

Does Sydney come out of this alive?

To find out….you will have to read the book.

“Face of a Killer” comes to life after about page 100 then it builds into a 5 tequila stressful 250 pages of harrowing narrow escapes, intrigue…..and terror.
