Sabrina Jeffries Talks Regency
When she was young, Sabrina Jeffries grew up a missionary’s daughter where she traveled at an early age to live in Thailand. Several factors came into play during that time that would mold the future New York Time bestselling author’s future. By the time she was eleven years old she knew she would be a published romance writer.
Sabrina talks with us about selling her first historical novel and about how being a missionary’s daughter helped her with her writing career.

What To Read To Put You In The Mood For The Holiday!
Tis always the season for reading!
Books about Thanksgiving are often about children, family and traditions. This Thanksgiving holiday you can gear up early in the week, or spend Black Friday home, snuggled in bed with a good book. Don’t care for sports? How about a fun read with the kids or perhaps a Thanksgiving book for you?

There are some new ones out there for those of you who already have bought Thanksgiving books in the past. Here are a few new books to consider:
There are also books for grown ups! Did you know that Janet Evanovich wrote a Thanksgiving book in 2006?
You can find books about Thanksgiving holiday sampler menus like The Parchment Paper Cookbook: A Holiday Sampler Menu from the Parchment Paper Cookbook.
You can go to online reader communities to find out what Thanksgiving reading people are talking about. GoodReads, a popular online destination for readers, has a thread from a few years back that is still relevant today.
The holiday week is hectic. While everyone is running around preparing for the feast, or recovering from it, curl up with a good book. Enjoy your holiday your way. Escape. Read together. Above all, have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Walker Books, a publisher in the U.K. has just unveiled a new book cover that just might “re-invent” they way we view a book.
The cover, appearing on the author Edward Hogan’s newest young adult book, Daylight Saving is fluid, and interactive. Created by the designers at Undercover, it is the first cover of it’s kind. When you run the mouse over the already beautiful cover, you find ripples of movement and a ticking clock counting down to the end of Daylight Savings time.
The book is a scary addition Hogan’s growing list of titles. Daylight Savings brings forth an entirely new perspective an a seemingly insignificant event. “For one of the main characters in Edward Hogan’s debut young adult novel, Daylight Saving, this time of year brings nothing but fear… it’s a thriller ghost story by a new voice in YA fiction that will have you utterly gripped. We can also tell you that this very night, when the clocks go back, is one that fills the characters with dread.”
There are many ways to donate your time and money this holiday season. We think one of the best is donating books, particularly to our troops. There are a number of organizations that you can donate books to the troops through, all of them are great, all of them send awesome books to the troops and all of them need your donations.
